Art Institute SS14

Last Thursday I attended the Art Institute SS14 show and I'm excited to report that the future of fashion is bright. Like, so bright you gotta wear shades. It really feels like that's what Fashion Week is all about - seeing totally new, never-been-done reinventions of hot trends and classic looks. The designs ranged from urban warrior to Far East exotic to the grandeur of My Fair Lady post-makeover. I especially swooned for models with looks that were sort of post-apocalyptic-bohemian with a global-traveler twist, carrying pieces of broken guitars.
