When true, individual style and warm, genuine personality combine, that is the making of an amazing blog - and exactly the formula of Ladies in Navy. Sutton and I check in on this unique blog basically daily to see Kelsey Wilburn's effortlessly chic, thoughtfully curated, yet refreshingly accessible looks, and read her personable posts. So we had to make her our latest
SOF: If
you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life - but had
unlimited access to everything from that label - what would it be?
KW: I'm thinking Chanel, vintage and new. You just can't go wrong there.
SOF: What are your favorite three things in your closet?
SOF: What are your favorite three things in your closet?
KW: I
have a faux leather jacket that I got on an awesome suit sale at The
Limited that I wear constantly in the fall and spring. It dresses up
jeans and dresses down more formal dresses. It also makes me feel edgy
and modern. I also love my velvet pants from the Gap as they go with
absolutely everything, and a cream raw silk dress from Madewell that is
perfect for any and all occasions.
SOF: What beauty product can you not live without?
KW: I'm
addicted to my eyeliner. Without it, I feel tired, look tired, seem
tired, and can't get anything done! I never leave the house without some
eyeliner on.
SOF: What made you decide to start a blog, and what's your favorite thing about blogging?
SOF: What made you decide to start a blog, and what's your favorite thing about blogging?
KW: I
was inspired by a blogger that shall not be named. She had a gorgeous
style blog and I spent a lot of style-stalking time and hours wishing I
could be just like her. Then I figured, why not? And here I am today! I
adore taking and editing photos and connecting with readers. I've made
actual friends through blogging and that's been so valuable to me.
SOF: What is your favorite go-to brick-and-mortar store? And online store?
SOF: What is your favorite go-to brick-and-mortar store? And online store?
KW: I am having a
hard time deciding between H&M and Gap. H&M has easy, trendy
essentials, but the Gap has amazing deals and a color palette I can't
argue with! Online, I love shopping at J.Crew as they have insane steals
and I don't have a store nearby.
SOF: What is the last thing you bought?
KW: I
just bought some gorgeous heels from ShoeDazzle, an online shoe store
with personalized selections curated by Rachel Zoe. They're gorgeous
retro printed heels that I just can't stop wearing.
